Rowing
The UNH rowing program was founded on the shoreline of the Oyster River in 1973 and is comprised of women's and men's club teams competing in collegiate regattas across New England and Nationally.
Team Updates
The 2025 Fall Season is officially underway for the UNH team. Novices and returning varsity are putting in the meters and working hard to prepare for their fall racing season. The first race for the Varsity squad will take place on October 4th at Head of the Snake on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, MA. UNH has also secured a spot in both the Men and Women's collegiate fours event at Head of the Charles. The Collegiate Fours event will take place on October 19th on the Charles River in Boston, MA. The last competitive fall race is Wormtown Chase back in Worchester, MA which is also the first race for Novice rowers.

Other events this fall season include our annual Head of the Oyster alumni race at the UNH Boathouse at Jackson's Landing on October 11th. All alumni are welcome to attend and get back in a boat with other alumni for a spirited race on the Oyster River against current rowers. The team will also be completing their most effective fundraiser, Rent-a-Rower, in the month of November. Reach out via email if you are interested in participating in the program and receiving some helping hands from the rowing team this fall. ​
​UNH Rowing is poised to deliver an exciting and competitive fall season, showcasing their hard work and resilience at races and in practice. The team roster has grown over the past two years and the Wildcats are ready to take on challenging regattas across the seasons. We hope to see family and supporters at some of the races and events this year!
