Max started rowing for Duxbury Bay Maritime School his Freshman year of high school. His senior year he rowed in the 2V8+. At UNH, Max was the stroke seat of the MN8+ in the fall, got 1st as bow seat in the 2V4+ at NERCS, and was 2 seat in the MN8+ for the majority of the Spring.
